Weintek introduces cMT-HDMI model of human machine interface

January 18, 2018 – As a newest member in the cMT Series, the cMT-HDMI inherits all the HMI functionality found in the cMT series. With a touchscreen and LCD, this HDMI-enabled unit can work with screens of any size. It can also allow touch control via USB connection, which can be, for example, an industrial touchscreen display with USB interface, or a USB mouse. The DIN rail size of it, compatible to one’s palm, makes it suited small panels or projects with size restrictions.

The cMT-HDMI is also suitable for Andon system. It can collect equipment and quality management data from the production line, process the data, and then send visualization and sound to a large screen monitor via HDMI, allowing real-time monitoring and control for onsite operators.

The cMT-HDMI provides built-in support for remote monitoring. By running the Weintek cMT Viewer application on cMT-iV5, smartphones, tablets, or PC, operators are able to remotely monitor their factories, operations and throughput via cMT-HDMI. In addition, this HMI model also supports smartphones as a barcode scanner, multimedia player, and IP camera viewer. It provides connectivity, including IIoT protocol standards, MQTT and OPC UA, direct connection with database, and more than 300 PLC/Driver communication protocols. The cMT-HDMI also supports drivers for various Industrial-Grade Touch Monitors.

The cMT-HDMI has a built-in HDMI Interface that allows users to customize the resolution to the most suitable setting for the chosen display device. The HDMI interface is converted to DVI/VGA with off-the-shelf adaptors. Via USB interface, the cMT-HDMI can work with most industrial touchscreen monitors on the market. With its Dual-Core Cortex-A9 1GHz CPU, built-in 4GB Flash and 1GB RAM, the cMT-HDMI is a unit with wide input voltage range. With built-in
MQTT server & client, and the option to connect directly with Amazon Aws IoT, the need for hosting an MQTT server is eliminated
